Hey all, I'm looking for some swords or axes, NOT power weapons just regular CC weapons. Chainswords are cool and all, but I'm looking for something a little more feral looking. Being Marines though, I'd prefer something that looks well-made and maintained. Nothing too ratty or beaten up. I looked through the Stormcast range but could only seem to find hammers and halberds. Any advice?

Did you check FW? They made a plethora of Space Marine CC weapon sets for 30K.

How about the weapons that come with Khorne Berserkers?

FW is your go-to people.

Various Warhammer plastics, Empire Knights come to mind. Imperial Greatswords as well possibly.

All I can find on Forgeworld are power and chain weapons. I'm looking for just generic axes/ swords and maybe the odd mace or something.

Anvil Industries, Puppets War and maxmini.eu all do sets of weapons, they might be too "powery" in some cases, but worth a look?

The Warriors Of Chaos sprues has provided me with plenty such things in the past, not sure if this still applies since AoS happend and what not. But could be worth looking into?

D'oh! I have plenty of those sprues too! Heading to work now, but I'll have to dig them out tomorrow!

Well I'll warn you now, if anyone sees a regular weapon (axe, sword, mace, especially maces) they'll assume its a power weapon.

Space Marines using a gladius and the like is not unheard of - I have seen Ultramarines do it, and Night Lords too.

I would just convert those FW power weapons to normal weapons with a sharp edge and a little creativity. Plus, given that they were made for marines, they should fit marines.

Do that and keep us updated if they suit your needs, I have tons of it laying about too

yeah I've been meaning to look at a sigmarine sprue sometime, I'm thinking they might be a fantastic source of thunderhammers and stormsheilds
