Good afternoon, dakka!

I was hoping some of the more experienced modelers here could give me advice on magnetizing the weapons on Imperial Knights. I really want to build my knights where they can be customizable.

I have never worked with magnets, and I would appreciate any advice on using them.

Is there a preferred size, brand and vendor that anyone would care to recommend?

Also, if anyone has any tips on how or where to magnetize the knights' weapons, that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any comments or insights!

Rather than magnetize, I converted to bayonet mounts.

Detail picture is in my P&M blog:

I made a video where you can see where I put my magnets.

in the arms its basicly just greenstuff and plasticard cut into round shapes.

4mm magnets for most parts, 3mm magnets for the small hull mounted heavy stubber/melta
