Is there any rule governing what happens when two opposing players have the same unique model in their armies? Like, say someone has Tigurius in their army, and they play against someone who also has Tigurius in their army. What happens here?

I am thinking of making a Knight Errant that will use Gerantius's rules(but he will be in my own color scheme), but my brother is talking about running Gerantius in his army as well. What would happen if we played each other?

Roll off to see which of them is from the mirror universe. The loser is forced to paint a bad goatee on their model.

It only matters if there's more than one on the same side.

You just put the one model on the table, and each turn you can roll off to see who controls him...

But no, the Unique limitation only applies to your own army. Clearly the other guy is just a really good imposter...

The clearly most-correct answer!

In my case, if there are two Gerantiuses, my Counts-As Gerantius would be the imposter.

This reminds me of a game in which the polarized beliefs of Inquisitors Coteaz and Hoteaz broke out into open war...

Jup he must be an imposter. That warp time delay paradox nonsense is just a hoax, kill him now.

I once played a Fantasy game with two Archaon the Everchosen models. On the very first turn, my opponent's Archaon cast a spell, got a perils and turned into a Chaos Spawn. Mine made it through to the end of the game. Ergo, while the rules may not prevent two of the same Unique in one game, the Chaos Gods sure do!
