The Reaver Titan has been out for 8 years, and we still only have the option of a missile launcher for the carapace mount. The Warlord, which they do fewer sales of, all ready has two with more planned. Why are they lagging on the Reaver? What infuriates me the most is that they all ready could be marketing the turbo Laser. They made one up for the terrain piece that only a few people would buy. They stated it is compatible with the Reaver, so why not offer the weapon on it's own?

Personally from a glance at it, I'd imagine a new one is being planned. The current one is very much an old aesthetic - I'd not be surprised if Forgeworld is going to re-imagine the older titans in the next 2-3 years.

I think it's more of them forgetting the Reaver existed.

When the Reaver first came out it was touted as the largest titan ever made. Then the Phantom happened, then the Horus Heresy line happened.

I care to wager that it wasn't intentional on their part, but that the Horus Heresy line took almost all of their time to develop so the Reaver was left forgotten. Then the Warlord came around.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Speaking as some-one who asked them - the expectation is, basically, you take a Warhound arm weapon and adapt it to the mounting point. Since those self-same weapons are the only options, there isn't much reason for them to make a major new release for them. The Reaver's top socket is more than large enough to mount the arm-join of the Warhound.

As an aside, the Plasma Blastgun for the warhound is 'sided' in that the armoured casing has less armour on one side.

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.
