To elaborate a bit more on a different thread, how much do you spend in a given year on plastic crack?

Most of the time I’m in the $100-500 range. But I’m just adding onto an extensive, existing collection, an not starting any new projects.

When I sold the last of my M:tG cards, I did spike up into the $1,000 range for a couple of years. When I was young and single, I probably spent about the same in adjusted dollars.

Around £100 - £200. I don't buy much directly from GW any more, but what I do buy from them I love.

I also strip and paint to a...table top quality...junk that's dirt cheap on eBay. So in reality I'm probably spending up to £500/year, but make a large amount of that money back reselling things.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

I clicked the less than $100 option, but thinking back I haven't actually bought anything in the past year.

Used to regularly spend £50-£100 a month on GW stuff until the current rules direction turned me off.

There are two that could fit you. "Less than 100" includes "nothing" and then there's the last one on the list; "Nothing."

Are the stacks of cash you're saving blocking your line of vision to your screen?

The "nothing" option is a recent addition to the poll

Like 250 euros maybe' because i was getting the army built. But according to GW's behaviour and the fact i don't need to add anything else anymore to my IG forces, my average spending will heavily decrease during the following years.

40K directly? I'm only building a second edition army...and it'll almost all be done within a year (round about $700 dollar mark, maybe a tick over).

Hobby-wise for normal wargaming? I'd say maybe $850-1300 a year is close.

That includes terrain, brushes, paint, models, scenery, gaming mats, primer, etc. I'd say rarely more than $100 a month, but then I enjoy buying into the occasional Kickstarter for $100-150 a pop.

Well, now that I've got my armies up to the size I want, I'll be lucky if I spend $100. However, looking back at the past three years, it was about $1,000 a year.

500-700. Usually 500. It's about all I have time to paint in an entire year.

I voted 1000 to 1500, only because that includes cases, books, paint, modeling tools, and other stuff. That seems to be close to the average from previous years, though that might include other games and whatnot.

I've actually had a great year this year when it comes to value purchases. So far I got a deathwatch overkill boxed set, 2 imperial knights renegade boxed sets, a tyranid swarm boxed set, an imperial sector terrain boxed set, a skyshield landing pad, A couple of AOS starter sets, a ton of bits for my knights, other modeling supplies, and a codex or two for around 600 or 700 bucks.

I still have room in the budget for some good scotch, some good beer, and maybe a start on an eldar army.

I really don't buy into the concept that this hobby is too expensive. Perhaps too time consuming, but I have friends that actually spend a lot more time and money playing golf.

I purchase the occasional codex. Haven't bought a model from GW in over three years. 7th reduced my army, nothing got added.
