That BoLS author seems completely out of touch with reality. I like bashing GW as much as the next guy, but there is enough stuff that is tied to sane arguments to complain about that we don't have to go to these lengths to make weird connections.

Well, GW -does- share a lot in common with the IoM. It is a large monolithic organization run by out of touch old men. It is slowly decaying as other factions (companies) whittle away at it's domain. Sure, it may gain a few victories here or there but it's continued existence is largely through it's own massive presence. It may die one day but that day will be far away.. They maintain themselves by sacrificing loyal servants and planets (employees and stores) to save the greater whole. They maintain hostile relations with outside entities and are want to execute those who defy them (their policy with FLGS). The GW of Man is maintained through faith, ignorance and a sacrifice of a thousand wallets per day to the God Emperor of Games.

It isn't very funny. I mean it might be a joke, but then it's like a three sentence joke that has been stretched into a full article. It's a huge case for Poe's Law.

Its a joke, that's what he does. Joking around while kicking in doors and getting lots of clicks in the process.

BOLS' article writers are a joke, some of em are good but best I can detirmine they allow pretty much anyone who sweet talks em to write for em, One of their BFGA reviews was TERRIABLE. it basicly consisted of "I'm an awesome RTS game player and think you should play this game"

I thought it was rather funny.
