I was a bit surprised to see there was no thread about MOMminiaturas A.K.A MOM miniatures
Website: http://www.momminiaturas.com/

The Spanish company is perhaps most well known for their regiments of:

Chaos Warriors:

Dwarfs:

and Empire-ish halberdiers

Apart from these, they have a bunch more other regiments from these and other factions (check the website out). They also produce a fair bit of resin terrain but mostly heroically scaled fantasy models, obviously designed to fit in well with the existing WHFB aesthetic. They're affiliated with the 9th age project nowadays.

Anyway, they release quite a bit of stuff these days (lots of single character models), so I thought it fitting that they should have a thread here.

I have some of their models here, one of the best resin models you can get at the moment .
Detailed enough for single model games or dioramas and cheap enough to be used for mass battle games.

here are some pictures of the dwarfs compared with other manufacturers

Thanks for Introducing these to me Zywus, I've just been on their website and there are some really cool figures there.

If I played KOW / 9th Age I would definitely be buying a Chaos army from these guys, but as it stands I will just pick up a few pieces to paint.

Gotta mention the low prices too, amazing!

Wow, what a neat company! Thank you for sharing

I don't see the chaos warriors from the first pic above on their site, though?

Cheers all.

Glad to see this thread has helped previously unaware people discover this company.

They seem to have a sci-fi project in the works:

And there is some progress made on the dwarf crossbowmen:

Good to see these guys getting some attention of Dakka, hopefully a sign they're starting to get the recognition they deserve. I bought a bunch of their stuff earlier in the year and it really is top notch stuff, if anyone is on the fence about buying some then I can definitely give an unreserved recommendation. You won't find better resin minis for the price, the material is good, the designs great and the sculpts superb.

Looking forward to their Dwarf crossbowmen, GW's are very dated and those look very nice indeed.

WIP of a Phoenix:

Should be of interest especially to Elf players in T9A and Basilean players in KoW

Oh, and a Dwarf Cannon:

And the cannon looks finished. Really like the size of the wheels. Makes it look suitably sturdy.

Nice, I might have to get me a couple of those at some point. Much nicer than GW's offerings, and the crew look nice and characterful too!

The crew reminds me a lot of the ones manning the GW metal dwarf cannon. Not the older one from the 80's when Dwarfs was even cuter, but the one from around late 90's early 00's.

Does anybody have any pictures of their alternative Chaos Warriors (Guerreros del Norte) they wouldn't mind sharing? I find the ones on the website unsatisfactory. I would really like to see them from different angles, and of course see how they would fit in with GW chaos warriors. Thanks in advance

They are big, and the shields huge. Which I like.

Solo:

Comparison with some old GW models (90's metal chaos marine and Abaddon):

That one is from a bag I bought more than a year ago. They were still using a "beige" resin, although in the process of replacing it with a higher quality, grey resin. In the bag I got pieces from both materials, I guess now everything must be on grey resin already.

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.

GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get.

By the way, they just shared this on their FB page. Testing color patterns, apparently:

I'd prefer if they'd focus on their fantasy stuff to be honest.

I don't feel the market needs another range of bulky power armor dudes.

Agreed, although I simply can't dislike that "falloutesque" power armor design.
