FW put out, but I've fielded Thagmata out of the first three books for
years now, so forgive any dumb questions. Is this a
CAD or age of darkness detachment? If so you need
another troop as Castellax can never fill you're compulsory troop slots. Second, your Castellax have paragon
of metal as a squad? I was under the impression only a single model could have paragon. Assuming no
paragon you need a cortex controller on your magos, and a cyber familiar is almost always worth it. Maybe
make him a repair magos with a cortex controller to fix wounds on your Castellax as they will draw all of
your opponents
AT fire. Also why do the Adsecularis have grenades, point fill? Seems fairly useless to me,
but to each their own. Normally i'd say you lack any real
CC presence, but if your with night lords, he may
have you covered. That being said it would be helpful for him to not have to expend alot of effort guarding
your squishier elements. Were I in your shoes with so few points i'd play a horde. A magos prime Lacrymerta
(sp?) and as many squads of Adsecularis as I could fit with carapace and rights of pure thought. Maybe even
revenant alchemestry. A Tech priest squad of Lacrymulis to boost the
FNP in that case could be very nice. If
you don't mind getting cheesy the wording on the priests could be interpreted as +1 to
FNP per priest, unless
they changed it, which I hope they did. That army is hard to buy all the models for though. Painting would be
a nightmare... a compromise maybe? A bunch of hit-and-run tactics Thallax with a Jetpack magos tooled for
fire suppourt. It would work well with an up and close list like night lords, be an easy army to collect and play
due to low model count, and Have some nasty punch with Plasma fuslils, photon accelarators or multi-meltas.
