Been Around the Block

Having had a few AoS tournaments at my local GW recently the question has come up whether i should be paying points for a sylvaneth wildwoods. Playing an army with the sylvaneth allegiance gives me one wood right off the bat to place and another if I take the acorn of ages artifact as well as having access to the deep wood lore which allows me to summon more woods.

Now my actual questions are
1 - Do I pay points for wildwoods? If so how much?
2 - Would I pay this cost for the wood I get from my allegiance?
3 - Woulds I pay this cost for the acorn of ages?
4 - Am I a dick for dreaming of an entire 4x4 board covered in wildwoods going berserk?

As for 4, it could be a bit much but keep in mind that it will actually help the opponent as much as you if they play Sylvaneth as well.

Normally I'd say its a 'negotiate with your opponent' thing but it seems that this is in regards to tournaments, in which case they had it coming for not comping it somehow. GHB matched play, despite the name, is hardly tournament-suitable without modification.
