Well first one would presumably need it to be big and popular. If there was forum for every game there would be ridiculous number...

Or you could set up your own on your own servers. Getting users without it becoming first big success might be tad hard though.

Not really.
Once your game is being talked about and the top 13 posts of dakka on multiple sub forums then you'd probably get your own slot.
In the meantime start a thread or two and play keeping uppies.

Right now, I think your game warrants a single thread under Misc. Sci-Fi Miniature Games, which itself might be an introduction with a redirect to your official forums.

For you to get a dedicated forum here, I think you would have to be at least as popular as Infinity, Star Wars, Kings of War, or Warmahordes, etc. among existing Dakka members. If we don't happen to take a shine to it, you probably won't get a dedicated forum.
