I was shown the chapter in the novel where Braellen leads his cult against Bule and his Nurgle Rotbringers which ends *spoiler* with Bule going through a realm gate to join up with archaon. Is the Sigmar cult mentioned again in the book/any other book?
I don't have much interest buying the book if there's only one chapter about them but if there's more I'd consider it
Yeah they are more in the background. If you want I shall metion other times they are in the fluff.
Like a group of them saved a stormcast army from being overrun. They were called the candlemen. In the season of war they were the ones actually cleansing the realm of life of nurgle's corruption(how do you think they cleanse corruption?) while the stormcast where standing around guarding forts and cities.
Plus their general fluff is after the stormcast take a realmgate or important objective they normally move on. It's the devoted of sigmar that then come in and cleanse everything.
Plus their witch hunters making sure cultists don't spring up in the new settlements. I asked on facebook after the season of war if we will hear more of them.
Now take this with a grain of salt GW said we will hear more of them in the future with a smiley face. I honestly suspect they are going to be the new "main" human faction and are the ones who are going to get all the crusading knights and templars. I think out of all the order factions they are going to get the "sylvaneth" treatment.
Table top wise they are awesome as nails against chaos stuff better than stormcast and it's showing in their fluff and in the books they have displayed more more powerful faith powers than stormcast. Honestly almost finished my death planning to do a devoted of sigmar army flagellants are awesome.

Thanks a lot. That would be cool if they added crusading knights to the force as really what you have at present are priest, witch hunters and flagellants. My 2000 point list revolves around 4 war altars, 2 warrior priests and 80 flagellants
