As far as I know, the void-whale and void kraken are the only creatures able to live their lives unprotected in deep space. Even Tyranids have to stop and eat sometimes.

If you have things clinging on to your hull after a trip to warpspace, you need to check your geller field. That’s one place you do not want to bring back hitchhikers.

Well Nids have to eat but in terms of depressurisation, breathing, etc, Nids are just fine.

Any sane Imperial crew might check their shield. But my space orks might just find it good looking.
Noting says void capable as some nice looking barnacles sticking on the side of your shuttle.

There are probably the 40k-equivalent of Star Wars' mynocks out there somewhere. Space is really, really, really big.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

"Just the act of orks looting it defiles it! There are Techpriests rolling over in their graves!" "Yeah! I'm rolling over them in their graves!"
"The usage of shipping containers is much like 40k technology: It's been handed down from tech-priest to tech priest, until none of us really remember how it works and we go through many pointless rituals in the belief that it will keep it alive. " - Dayspring
