Are you sure you know what you're asking for? A Reaver Titan is about 4 times the size of an Imperial Knight, hundreds of pounds of Forgeworld resin and about 1500pts.

Yeah I think you might be confused a reaver Titan is about 3 minutes time as tall, about 700 bucks for weapons included. And cost 1450 points to field.

Also it's weapons can one shot a knight so, think you might be a wee bit confused friend

To many unpainted models to count.

Ya I might be confused, but inst there a titan the same size of a knight, if not a reaver?

The Warhound Titan is the smallest "true titan", and it's bigger than a Knight, although not by nearly the same extent as the Reaver.

The Eldar Revenant Titan might be the "weediest" Titan, though even it is bigger than an IK by a fair margin. That said, some do consider the Imperial Knight to be a type of "light titan", so maybe that's where the confusion is coming from.

No, imperial walkers in order of height, (That i know of)

Dreadnought, Knight, Warhound titan, Reaver Titan, Warlord Titan.

There is nothing in the imperium that is the same size as a knight, either bigger or smaller, same for the reaver.

To many unpainted models to count.

Dreadknight is definitely between the Dreadnought and Imperial Knight in terms of height.

Yeah, though it's not a walker, rules-wise. (Fluff-wise, either it's a walker or a Dreadnought and Knight aren't, but that's a giant bottle of bees that'll take an edition shift or more to iron out.)

The is a much larger Knight, Wathound size, coming out for 30k in the near future. FW has been showing design photos of it at their recent weekenders. It will effectively be a Titan-class Knight.

For your first army id say to buy a regular knight. Unless you have lots of skills at painting and model making from somewhere else (e.g. Model trains).

If it is your first foray into miniatures then you want to start small and then that way you can complete the painting without getting too daunted or amassing too much unpainted resin/plastic

The old Armorcast Warhound is smaller than the Forgeworld Warhound, maybe as tall as a Knight.

Definitely not. It's legs are almost as tall as a Knight.

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

In order of height, the smaller stuff goes something like this:
- Dreadnought
- Dreadknight - Grey Knights only...
- Imperial Knight
- FW Knight
- FW Warhound

And then the stuff gets very large and very expensive...

For your Dark Angels, having an Imperial Knight "freeblade" (like the iPad game) as your Allies would be fine.

If you're going to buy an Imperial Knight, you should get it off eBay ASAP.

GW has recently discontinued the production and sale of Imperial Knights : Renegade, so the price of Knights will only increase. Right now, you can buy one for less than $100 USD shipped. That price will not hold as we move to the holiday season.

Of course, you should also look to buy at least 1 set of the Dark Angels miniatures from the 40k Dark Vengeance starter set. You can always add to that down the road.

The reaver is 1450 points while the warlord is 2500 from memory... not sure where the 900 and 1250 come from

I knew it was up there (2500 is the phantom) but could not remember exactly and was to lazy to get the book to check!
