Since this is not exactly a tournament, and is designed to bring more players together I believe this is the best section for this post.

There is somewhat rising Interest in 30k here, and as such we are organizing an Escalation style Campaign.

The campaign will be focused on giving new players time to aquire and construct their armies rather than needing a full Amy right awaynow while allowing players with an established army to take part or start a new faction.

Here are the basics:

In October 2016 I will be starting an Escalation campaign entitled The Scourge of Rathmire.

This is going to be a campaign centered around The Horus Heresy (or more commonly called '30k'). It is designed to give those folks with a desire to build a 30k army the chance to do so, at a manageable pace with many others.

It will be a Narrative driven escalation campaign based on the ForgeWorld 'Conquest' campaign rules, spanning approximately six months with a big conclusion in April. Points will increase in blocks of 500pts each month giving players plenty of time to obtain, build and paint their forces for the next month's games.

There will be 3 Factions in total:
Loyalists
Traitors
Xenos

Loyalist and traitor lists will be encouraged most of all, the xenos slots reserved for those who really want to participate but are unable due to time, money etc. To work on a new army.

As of right now we have At least Three Legion players and some Auxilia signed up for, as well as a Xenos slot and likely more on the way, so if you are interested send me a message via pm or this thread if you have any questions or want more information!

Where is this being held? Game Cafe or GW store by the stadiums?

It will be "primarily" held at Game Cafe for the larger event missions. But it can be played anywhere results of games will just need to be turned in by both participants for recording. (This will be done in person, email/text or via an in construction FB page)

Minor Update:
Interest seems to be growing quite well, and expect it to keep doing so.

And 2 undecided.

Traitors seem to be rather popular at the moment, so Anyone wanting to play loyalists this is a good time to get in.

Remember legions/Armies are not limited to one person so if you see a legion or Army you're interested in signed up, you can still do the same.
