Has anyone else noticed or wondered WHY Seraphon didn't get devided at all?? Every other army has at least 2 allegences, but not Seraphon. The Old Orks and Goblins book (which I played) got devided up into 6 different allegences. The new Stormcast army has 2 allegences. And there was a easy divide with Seraphon Sinks, or Saurus. Just wondering if anyone know why or has a good Therorry.

Because the Slann are still in control and the lizardmen have always followed the Slann and their teachings, they are the ultimate in being united and amusingly they are the pinnacle of Order.. Which they want to be as the counterpart to Chaos.

Exactly this.

It's not like the Lizardmen of old fractured into a number of tribes with bands of Skinks roaming the hills while Saurus warbands prepare for war in dark caves. They're all hanging out on Slann spaceships, waiting to be summoned to battle the forces of Chaos as a single, well ordered whole.

Actually, current canon is that nothing exists outside of a handful of Slann.

The beasts, Seraphon, Skinks, etc... are manifested, tangible, "memories" conjured into being by Slann just for use in battle. Seriously, official canon is that all those species are just extinct.

That's actually the coolest bit of Age of Sigmar fluff I've heard yet.

Yeah that's really neat, and it explains why they can summon units in the actual tabletop game.

If I remember my fluff right the what is called free people now (used to be empire) were never far from a cannon yet cannons are a different allegiance from free people. That and the lizard men of old were scattered through out many different temples, some of which had or didn't have certain spawning pools.

As to new cannon wow that sort of depressing. Their all dead but a handful of slann. I mean there always but a handful of Slann left but at least they had there little buddies. Now the little buddies are just conjured memories.
