I'd like recommendations for a 2 player game for wife and I to play, prefer something a bit sword n sorcery based if possible. I was thinking back to a game an ex-gf and I played a ton of, Balder's Gate Dark Alliance 2, something along those lines.

Also don't want to pay a fortune for it, I'm not down with $60 for games atm. Not bothered if it's a 360 game or isn't top of the range graphics as long as it's fun and easy to put down and pick back up.

Not sure how it is on consoles, but Diablo 3 the Ultimate Evil edition will probably scratch that itch for you.

This! It's great on consoles and should be a bit cheaper now as well

As suggested, Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition is a good choice as it has couch coop.

Are you and the wife going to get an Xbox Live Gold account? If so, you might want to keep track of what games are free under the "Games with Gold" each month as sometimes games like you're after pop up.

As a heads up though, unless you set up some kind of payment tied to the account you cannot download the 360 titles easily without you downloading the game via a 360. It's weird and annoying and hopefully they fix it soon.

Like those have mentioned, Diablo 3 RoS is an option.

As is Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition; just beat this with the wife yesterday, got about 90 hours of in-game time with it (might be skewed since we don't pause much), and had a blast. It's punishingly annoying at certain parts (think direct port DnD sort of annoying), but otherwise we had a GREAT time playing it.
