#1 what the hell happened to garviel loken of the lunar wolfs?

#2 I recently read up on the black crusades and something caught my eye.During the 7th black crusade the planet Midian was under attack by the Black legion and the blood angels were to defend the planet. However the blood angels couldn't fend off the relentless black legion until an Unknown space marine chapter came and aided the blood angels.is this moment in imperial history a DIY friendly moment or has it been established?

#3 I'm having trouble thinking of major flaws within my home brew chapter. The only i can come up with is the lack of a betchers gland
Anyone got ideas? In all honesty i wanted something like the black rage or something along those line, perhaps a altered version of the black rage or something. Again I'm open for anything.

#4 can a chapter adopt the fighting style of khorne berserkers? Not the idealogy but just the way they fight.

#5 whats the chance between a daemon prince vs a chapter master 50/50?

1) Loken was recruited into the Knights Errant, and they are hypothesised to become the Grey Knights.

2) I don't think it's ever confirmed, but just in case GW do confirm it or explain it in a book, I think I'd avoid tying a homebrew chapter into it.

3) I don't think Imperial Fists have a Betcher's Gland, so that's completely feasible if you're an IF descendant.
Otherwise, check out the 1d4chan Chapter Creator for some other mutations.
You could even have the Black Rage, if you were a Blood Amgels descendant.

4) Well, considering the gist of the Khorne Berserkers is practically just charge and slash, of course a Chapter could embody that. The Flesh Tearers already do.

5) Depends on the strength of the Daemon Prince and Chapter Master. If you're looking at Calgar fighting one, Calgar wins. If it's an unknown Chapter Master, it's possible to kill the DP, but the odds are stacked against it. In the fluff, Daemon Princes are tough opponents.

What gene-seed line is the chapter from?

A good idea is to pick one of the implants from the list and come up with a way for it to malfunction.

If you want psychosis; I'd suggest the Catalepsean Node - the one which allows a marine to go without sleep. It's not unknown for it to develop a recessive malfunction - the Excoriators have one, which can plunge the victim into a catalepsian coma during deep despair - and having it progressively trigger psychosis is quite possible*. This wouldn't be a 'Sanguinius Is Talking To Me' sudden event, but a case of a malfunction where you can't switch it off - the marine essentially stops sleeping ever, and will eventually go classic pants-on-head-dribbling psychotic. Realising this is going to happen; a violent death in suicidal assault squads is probably his best option.

* The longest a marine has been without sleep and remained functional is 328 hours during the battle for Rynns world.

In a Daemon Prince vs Marine, the Daemon Prince should probably win (assuming neither is a 'named character'), but it depends on circumstances - relic/blessed weapons, armour, or indeed battlefield (like the ruins of a cathedral) can vastly tip the balance.

As far as a weakness or flaw goes, this is your most important aspect of your chapter's character. The best way to help you here is if I ask what you want your chapter's theme to be? What do you want them to be all about in terms of story?

I'd advise against going overboard with a flaw, sometimes a subtle flaw can be more intreasting then a "HEY LOOK! ANOTHER DOOMED CHAPTER!"

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I would look at the deathwatch RPG books. They have a lot of great information for generating a specific marine and thus you can extrapolate that into a full chapter.
