Hey all, at my first nova and having a blast! Anyway was watching a game with chaos vs the trees and the player had this model. I know he was running a formation but I dont remember which one. Anyway, in the shooting phase he would target all units within a certain distance, roll as many dice per model in the unit, mortal wound on 3+ and reroll ones. It actually did 60 wounds in one phase at one point! She also healed every turn as well.

Now, I was intrigued so when I went to my room and quickly downloaded the warscroll and could not find a heal at all. And the way I read her abilities it seems as if the player combined the two on accident. I was wondering if I missed or read something wrong or if there is a possible formation that makes her this powerful?

Per Model In the Unit - false

This should be within 10" for swarms, or 10 dice per unit for the fluttfuries.

Rerolling ones means she was in melancholy state.

The healing has to come from someone/where else as she doesn't have a heal spell.

Was the healing automatic or spell-based? And yes, it sounds like the swarms were misused; she only gets one (pick when deployed) and they aren't quite that powerful.

I believe the healing was spell based yes, so no issues there.

As an fyi; the spell is from Sylvaneth Allegiance. Not sure if/how the formation plays in though, was she even in it?

She probably took regrowth. Every wizard can take it from the deepwood spell book. Heals D3 or D6 for Sylvaneth. There is also a command ability where they heal 1 wound or D3 every turn too.

It's either 10 dice for all units (including your own) within 18" (at full health, this gets less wounded) and then a mortal wound on a 6 (rerolling one if enraged)

OR (and this is OR as in weapon has to be picked before the game starts, equipment)

pick 1 enemy unit and all models within 10 " in THAT unit gets wounded on 3+ (at full health, gets worse when wounded) rerolling 1's when embittered

Embitterd and enraged are determined AT random, not picked each round.

Drycha is indeed a caster and could thus heal herself.
