This question struck me as i was giving my warboss a new big shoota arm. (Just for the looks) and I wondered what was the average lifespan of an average ork. I seen how a grot in the gifts of gork and mork managed to live 9 years before dying. So i dont expect much, i just want a more clearer lifespan from the community. Because I know there is a few people out here that might know

Thanks

"We're not just going to shoot the bastards. We're going to cut out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks."
-The most imperial guard thing ever said.
The one rule I have in my threads: DONT TALK ABOUT THE ABRAMS.
That is it

I dont think any ork ever died from old age.. I dont know if they have any max limit to their age.. They live untill they get killed.

Edit: Fixed a typo.

Pretty much what Merelin said. An Ork thrives and grows from fighting, so it is going to just get bigger and meaner with time, and it's only going to die in a fight.

As part of this question, how long does it take an orc to grow to a full, mature, war-ready ork?

Because their lifespan is probably 2 hours after that

An Orks physiology and Healing could eventually lead it to be nigh immortal, the only thing that prevents them from living forever is their penchant to fight and war.

look at Ghazghkull_Mag_Uruk_Thraka he is pretty old and pretty big for an Ork and has probably lived longer then most, and he was about 66 around the 2nd. Armageddon war, but that is not anywhere near the longest lived being, but how long will he live? who knows, Orks ages are nothing because they die fast, very few live long lives.

Thinks Palladium books screwed the pooch on the Robotech project.

Funnily enough we have examples that are even better, there was The Beast with nobz that were as big as standard sized Warbosses, the Beast was the size of a Hab Block, about the size of a small Gargant.
