Title says it all. I usually paint by myself and I get super bored. I paint at night generally when my kids go to bed and my girl is at work (she works overnights). So, I want a friend to hang out, paint, play some games, more paint blah blah. You know the drill! I don't mind newbs or pros. I'm sort of an inbetweener. I would say I paint a step above tabletop standard. I generally paint warhammer miniatures lately (but I use them for GURPS, not opposed to learning warhammer, but more interested in fantasy/AOS than 40k). I also love to paint rackham miniatures when I can find them (my favorite) and of course, for cheap ones, the reaper bones miniatures.

I have all the supplies, generally extras of most things. Maybe you used to paint and don't anymore?

Anyway, if you're interested, message here, give me a DM, however this forum works! I'm in Portland as the title says, but I'm right next to Gresham. I've tried local forums, but no luck yet.

Also, I am brand new to this forum, just signed up for the purpose of putting this call for a painting buddy on here. If its in the wrong section, please direct me where it would be more appropriate.

if you check out Guardian Games, and see if they still have their weekly painting night, you can meet a few of their local painters...
from there, it should be easy to see who you vibe with, and ask if they would be down to paint at your house...
Guardian is the most social shop in Portland, in my experience...

I live all the way near Gresham so it's a bit of a trek but it looks like that's probably what I'm going to have to do.

There is a Games Workshop in Eastport Plaza on 82nd which is a little closer to your neck of the woods.
