Who plays ad mech and skitarii?? Looking at starting them! Any ideas where to start and what to grab first? Was almost thinking 2 of the starting collection boxes?? I like the look of their formations and detachments. The war convocation looks especially good!

You can literally take 3 of the start collecting boxes.
3 Onagers form a good squadron, you never can have enough skitarii (plus that way you get 3 of every weapon) and you can sell a dominus or two if you don't want to build different loadouts.

For AdMech, you already have the Dominus from the Start Collecting!. Adding 2 squads of Kataphrons gives you a non-formation use for the dominus.

Then simply add what you feel like. Dragoons, Castellan, Electro -Priests, a Knight or two...

3 starting boxes is an amazing start to a Skitarii force.

Even with the two unnecessary Dominus, it's still more than worth the price.

Personally, I play close to pure Skitarii, but Thairne mentioned the Kataphron. If you have 3 starter boxes, then two boxes of Kataphron to go with that makes you a solid army.
