Hoi!

Started converting my to be a regular human mining colony using skitari helmet heads a while back.

these chumps.

I plan on using them with GSC rules since they are cool. but now i am having trouble converting the other hybrid kits.

They are a little bigger and i will need to fix basically all of the arms. any ideas for arm and leg bits?

also an alternative to the rending claws. mining related gets bonus points.

Pure strains and patriarchs are more then likely going to be skitari scicarians in the scheme of like worker drones.

need other ideas as well

thanks.

I guess the standard answer is Imperial Guard bits maybe? Or there's any number of third party options.

Mining equipment - drills, stone cutting saws or maybe shovels (chainshovels!)

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

I would think Skitarii robed arms would look decent on Acolytes/Metamorphs. Ork legs might sort out your Acolytes & Metamorphs.

For Rending Claws, you could do some sort of hand drill or plasma cutter (just put a little green-stuff "flame" on the front of a cut-down pistol, maybe do some OSL painting to sell the effect).

Make your Aberrants using Ork Boyz or Ork Nobz with appropriate weapons and human heads (comically undersized on the big bodies), representing semi-stable mutants used as mining labor.

As I recall, Micos over on Gang Geek Style used plasticard and old sprue to make some truly outstanding Iron Hands conversions, particularly in this case, servo-arms, which could be used to represent the extra arms on Hybrids. You can use old drill bits, and circular saw blades from a dremel or similar to make industrial tools and some sharpened sprue should make a jackhammer chisel.

Certainly servo arms are in. anvil as a bunch of those as options.

i think i can steal some drills and blades from ork kits.
or otherwise scratch building them shouldnt be hard.

on a side note wow this guy is talented.

Very nice, looks like you have a ragtag PDF force engaged in a guerrilla campaign against invaders. For the alternate rending claws what about some saws made from Ork plastics

Your Abberants could be converted from Ogryns, and some more close combat themed units could be made from Servitors. Perhaps a Sentinal converted into an Aliens style powerlifter could be the Patriarch.

Yeah thats perfect. and should serve well.

Ogryns are kinda too big i feel. i think i could convert some out of the new chaos warrior dudes. better scaling me thinks.
