I would if I were you, I've been checking in with mine periodically to confirm they were still involved as the project dragged on, and to inform them when I locked in my pledge with them as the location, so hopefully they'll take the time to email me even if RH don't.

Well, looks like they've taken a break from packing orders to go through the drop ship backers and work things out. Though looking at the comments there's at least two locations with insufficient backers to qualify.

Three. The Carbondale, Illinois location missed it by one. Shame, really, since there's a good chunk of the midwest that we'd be the closest to.

Seems I was one of the lucky ones then, got an email from my dropship confirming RH have told them they've got enough orders to qualify, and they've been informed the first dropship wave will be on the way "soon"(tm).

Hopefully RH can hold it together and refrain from any more "artisté'ery" until this whole turgid affair is done with.

Well, the 23 minis of Wave 1 ought to hit retail this summer/early autumn. But it won't be enough to field a full army. Unless you like children soldiers.

I prefer to see mine as count-as Ratlings, thankyouverymuch.

I agree. But if you were to make a full army of them, if you didn't want to wait 6 weeks for Wave 2 to be ready (ah!), then you'd have no choice but to use them as rank and file troopers.

Can anyone guess if those models are the hand poured resin, or the spin cast resin-plastic?

I don't think they gave any indication the hand-poured resin was headed out at all. I do hope, for their sake, that this is the spin-cast stuff.

Some people seem to have a shamefully negative opinion about us, on that forum, too.

Spruing on those figs is very similar in style to GW Finecast spun resin. The piece at the top of the right hand figure looks like part of a circle which would be consistent with spin casting.

Why don't you translate the best bits for us, while we wait! The only thing I got out of it with Google Translate is that we are really audacious for demanding renders before filling in the PM. Also I can't shake the feeling that

Lol....I've met people on the street that don't play wargames that have a low opinion of Dakka. We should be honored to be hated so.

Seriously though, other forums think Dakka is kinda a horrible place.

putting a gently mocking post in English through google translate or the equivalent is always going to make it look a lot worse,

so from their point of view this thread probably does look horrible, rather than just world weary
