The Lion, Kahn, and the obvious Russ are all classic Monster Slayer personae, so would make a good foil to the Daemon Primarchs.

But personally, I see Vulcan coming back before anyone else.

Vulcan is still trapped in stasis in Trollzyn's library of troll-tastic collectibles.

People say we have lost something moving from Old-Crons to New-Crons, but the image above shows how much some people are now engaging with them, and that is beautiful.

Tzangors are in AOS too

jesus christ how many of the same characters does 40k and AOS have....same chaos, same beastmen etc.

Everything in Codex Chaos Daemons, and all units from Codex Chaos Marines that are not futuristic.

that seems quite lazy to be honest that GW shares characters for both universes

They don't share Characters. Just units with the exception of named Daemons.

It has always been as such. Since like '87.

I'm going to assume that those "close combat weapons" that the Tzaangors get as standard aren't chainswords? In which case, they're compatible with Age of Sigmar, right?

The have a sprue of chainswords and pistols as well as their AoS weapons. They are usable in both game systems.
