Hey Dakka!

I'm looking to get myself a few of the Horus Heresy Rapier Batteries (3 Quad Mortars for me Iron Warriors to be exact), but that is quite the price point. The most important part are probably the treads, which I think could be replaced with the tread sections on the Ad Mech Kataphron and maybe a few other bits.

What do people think? is there a good size comparison around, or any advice on other bits for the Quad Mortar and shield portion?

Ah ok, so its a little bit smaller than the Rapier treads, and I think I'd turn the Kataphron "around" so the structure of the treads is similar, but it doesn't look like it'd be a massive difference, building up the platform and connection between the base and the mortars to compensate a little...
