Hi, fairly straightforward question for anyone who has experience with these kits, I'm looking to switch out the scout heads for either skitarii ranger heads or helmeted scion heads. I was wondering, if either option is more suited, as in a straight swap, rather then requiring any modelling work?
I wouldn't be too keen on green stuff work. Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Skitari ranger heads are very heavily augmented, fully mechanical face plate.
Comms array etc poke out the material.
They may work, but are highly mechanical and such.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |

So they'd work nicely for Iron Hands scouts?

I don't have any Skitarii heads, but I can vouch for the fact that Scion heads fit perfectly, with no modification, and look awesome on Scout bodies. I use these guys as Inquisition Henchmen.

I have used the scion heads and they look really good and only needed slight trimming on the round neck nob Automatically Appended Next Post: Beat by 4 second. Lol

Def going to give this a crack when I come to do my scouts; can't stand the heads on the current plastic lads.

Thanks for the help, i'll go with the scion heads then, as the normal scout heads definitely look like they are constipated.

Yep, plenty of decent Scion head swaps out there. A lot of people have used various Pig Iron System Trooper heads if you're interested in anything non GW.
