First attempt at a 1500 Imperial fists army, thoughts appreciated...

Pedro Kantor - 185

Tactical Squad [10 Men] + Missile Launcher [with Flakk]
-Razorback + Assault cannon. - 230

Sternguard Squad [10 Men] - 220

x3 Vindicator + Storm Bolters + Siege Shields - 405

Not sure whether to field the vindicators as a line breaker or if they would be better off running on their own, let me know what you think!

Thanks-

I don’t think it’s worth it to squadron the larger tanks. Not without something else going on. You end up with a very expensive unit that can only target one thing a turn. In the case of the Vindis, all it takes is one result that prevents one of the tanks from shooting (and there are a lot of things that can cause this) and that massive investment goes out the window, as you won’t be able to shoot the apoc blast.

Where is Kantor going and what is he doing? If he wants to ride, he’s just going to be hanging out with half a naked tac squad. But the other option is to footslog with the sternguard.

Who need a ride. They do very well in a drop pod, but at least get the boys a rhino. As you are not running combis, they don’t have to ensure the aplha strike to gain their points back. If you want to keep your mechanized theme, dropping them down to 9 men and putting the boss in there would be my suggestion.

Flack missiles are generally overpriced and ineffective. Crimson Fists can get some use out of them in a Dev squad. There at least you have tank hunter to help get your hits in. I’d also get specials/combis on the half squads that are moving forward in the razors.

I’d suggest dropping one of the vindis, and running the remaining two solo. That not only frees up points, but a HS slot.

A few thoughts of what to do next. You are obviously concerned with AA. My primary suggestion would be to get a stormtalon to fly air cover. They are scrappy little birds, and very flexible. If you want to keep the mechanized armored column theme (which I think makes a cool, fluffy list) I’d grab a stalker tank. For the price of one of those half tacs with a flack ML, you get a dedicated AA platform that will out perform all 3 of the ones you included in your list. The last option would be to use the HS slot and the ML marines to make a dev squad. This takes advantage of your CT, and quite possibly the minis you own (as MLs are quite common in most marine player’s collection)

I’d also use some of the points to get the sternguard a rhino. Depending on what’s left, some melta/c-meltas on the half tac squads in the razors. Although I might swap one of them for a HB/F full 10 man squad in a rhino. But that’s very much a personal taste thing.

I see what you mean about the lack of transport for the Sternguard, and the Flakk missiles, I've tweeked things slightly to get a transport in and possibly a bit more use from the sternguard if they get charged.

-Rhino -263

Total - 1498

I like the idea of 3 vindicators but I'll run these separately using the razorbacks to cover the side armour on turn one to avoid any deep striking melta.

Sternguard roll up in rhino with Kantor and can take an assault if needed, otherwise the rest of the units split up and camp home objectives/move on to other objectives.

I think you should swap the rhino from the stern for a drop pod. You want to get that heavy flamer into range right away and being with 12" for double tap on the stern guard is really powerful with your chapter tactics.
