So Im looking around on the GW shop and i notice alot of their kits seem to have upgrade parts, yet the necrons dont seem to have any new weapons or upgrades except for the 2 destroyer packs (which seem kinda rare/hard to find) Did gw stop making them are are there 3rd parties parts from someone else i need to order? Using third party is not an issue for me if i have to.

The heavy destroyer kit is awful because glueing very thin pieces of finecast to plastic is a pain.

Exactly this.

Flimsy thin bits of finecast that are never straight and the trying to get them onto the original weapon.

It's an awful idea and they've picked the worst materials for it.

Granted... the thin pieces of metal were not much better, but it was certainly better than finecast.
