Hi all,

I've been having a think about the grand alliances and wanted some input if possible please.
I have an old dogs of war army laying around that needs use again, and I'm thinking that the order grand alliance can make this possible again, but I wanted feedback first.

While it means proxying alot of units, I'd aim for running them as the best possible unit in resemblance.
For example, running the pikemen as freeguild spearmen, mengils manflayers as black ark corsairs etc.

All in all, dogs of war units are an insane price these days and I cant bring myself to sell them.
So I want to try and get a use from them if possible.

3 units I'm struggling to find an order proxy for are:

Tichi huichis raiders
Golfags mercenary ogres
Birdmen of catrazza

Hopefully someone can give me a few good ideas and thanks in advance.

Oh cool, dogs of war are an awesome army. I wish more people would try to put them in AoS, so many possibilities for great armies and backgrounds.

Anyway, I'd suggest Saurus knights for your raiders (they're battleline so they work), proxying your Ogres as Stormcasts and using your birdmen as freeguild pistoliers.

You could even give your ogres a Stormcast aesthetic like liberator shields as gut-plates, a necklace made up of their helmets and even using the spikey helmet crests as brass knuckles.

Hope that helps.

The other options of Ogres would be counts as Kurnoth hunters.

Soon his foes would learn that the only thing more dangerous than a savage three hundred pound brute is a savage three hundred pound brute with a plan - Ork Codex
