I'm thinking about bringing a herald of tzeentch with the ocular dias to deep strike obliterators turn one. I was wondering if for example I brought a unit of pink horrors in turn one because of the ocular dias, with an instrument of chaos could I automatically bring in my obliterators as well? If anyone could shed a little light on this id appreciate it.

The selected Unit may auto pass its Reserve Roll but they still don't get a Reserve Roll on Turn 1. Meaning they can only auto pass the Reserve Roll and DS on Turn 2.

The rules state at the start of each of your turns, that include turn one right? The Oracular Dais:Counts as Disc of Tzeentch. At start of each of your turns, choose one friendly Chaos Demon Faction unit that is reserve and automatically pass its reserve roll. Herald only.

Yes but it does not says the unit start to roll on turn 1. No roll, no automatic roll. The unit rolls from turn 2.

Generic characters disappearing? Elite units of your army losing options and customizations? No longer finding that motivation to convert?
Your army could suffer Post-Chapterhouse Stress Disorder (PCSD)! If you think that your army is suffering one or more of the aforementioned symptoms, call us at 789-666-1982 for a quick diagnosis!

Plans foiled, so much for warp talon and oblit shenanigans, thanks for the help.

Obliterators aren't part of the daemons faction either, despite having the daemon rule, so that's another strike too. It's a shame though, since I would love to be able to ensure that a heldrake would consistently turn up on time instead of dawdling in reserves until turn 4.
