So in a unit that states :models in this unit may be standard bearers. Standard Bearers can carry either an orruk banner or an Icon of Gork. In theory would I be able to have both standards in the unit? Since I could have one standard bearer carry one and the other another? Just curious.

You can yes. Additionally every model can technically be a standard bearer lol.

I love this rule, I would either have extra command models or I'd want to add more banners.

To the OP: It actually depends. There are some units that can have 2 different kinds of banners but you are limited to one type. So if you choose the standard, then any bearers can only have the standard. The same if you choose the Icon.

Yes you can technically have a unit that is all banners and musicians, not that the effects stack so it would be for redundancy. I've never seen warscrolls worded in a way that would allow for more then 1 leader model for a unit.

I can't find anything that says you are restricted to one banner type. Rules do seem to read that any standard bearer can take either type of standard.

Its just a matter that the banners and music don't stack, so once you have one of each there is usually no benefit to having more.

It's worth it if your fighting Stardrakes though, so they can't just chomp your banner bearer.
