Hello, Dakka!

I come bearing an abomination, but one I think would be fun (arguable.) to play with!

It's incredibly low model count, but each unit presents a real threat to most targets. Let me know what you think, or even share your own ideas for how to use these (now legal) beautiful models!

General Goal here is as follows

Tigs, one random librarian and one with an Auspex join the 10man Sword/Board squad. They hope for: Sanctuary (Giving a 2+/2+ Save) and possibly either electrodisplacement or infinity gate, as well as endurance or hammerhand.

The other two squads are identical, all Halberds and all with one Auspex and a plain librarian. Similar goals, going for movement spells and buffs.

Obvious weaknesses here are, y'know, 26 Models and it's very likely they'll just footslog it. However, each model (before buffs) is 2W, Eternal Warrior (Mostly), T5 (Majority) and all around scary in assault.

I'd personally put one sword/shield in each spear squad to get the better invul and place him at the front.

It's never going to be very competitive but it'd sure be interesting. Give it a week or two though and the new custodes models will be out and some look like absolute beasts.

Competitive? No, doesn't feel so right now. Fun? It does seem fun, though!

Keep track of which Librarians are in which formation. Color their bases or something.

Well, they have Eternal Warrior. It's also likely they'll end up with a 2+ Invuln, as every model in the star has a 2+ Armor, 3+ Invuln base before Sanctuary. You're right, though! S10 Hurts more than most things!
