This is my test model for sons of horus legion,
I will sell my tau empire (6000pts) soon and i was planning to buy full army for 30k and i think i might go for sons of horus paint scheme, mostly because i really like the scheme and they are so different at their colours compared to the rest off legions paint schemes:p

This was a quick test model , took only about 1-2hours to finish, base i have allready made long time ago

I used the forge world guide "how to paint"..
If i remeber the colours right they were 25% Dawnstone, 25% sotek green, 25% castellan green, 25% nurgling green mixture (I Used death forrest green for the nurgling green , because i didnt have that paint and i have to improvise .)
Then i painted dark brown wash to the recess, edge highlight with dawnstone.

Looks good mate! Very similar to Duncan's scheme from the WH youtube channel as well. If you haven't checked that vid out yet it may have some tips to help you further. Not that you need any, the test model looks good enough for me keep us posted on the army progress! Looking forward to seeing some updates.
