Hello,

Since I'm a bit broke at the moment I decided to deal with second part of my project, mainly bases.

I have couple of bases from the new assault squad that I really like:

But even though I have couple of them I can't make every model on those bases (not to mention the large base for Onagers)
Do you have any idea on how to make something "urban prefabricate" looking that would fit those bases? Right now I thought about using the guide for concrete bases from this site: https://theshellcase.co.uk/2014/05/29/concrete-city-base-tutorial/, but I'm not sure if they will fit well enough.

As always any tip would be welcome.

You could have a look for spares from the large building kits on eBay, perhaps.

I recently built a Relicos Militarum which had an absolute mountain of leftover parts, including a whole lot of walkways with similar sections to that

You need cork, plain plasticard and diamond sheet plasticard.

That will let you make bases similar to those in the pictures that you posted.

Hey, that might just work. It certainly is cheaper than buying munitorum armoured container or part of wall of martyr. Cork can also be nicely replaced with modeling clay like fimo - just have to tear smooth parts down witha a knife.

If you want to do something like the concrete bases you linked

try linoleum tiles

i dont know if they have them where you are but in the us you can get a 1x1 foot piece for like 50 cents. and they break and make really nice looking cracks.
