I... actually don't know. Help?

What models do to you think are GW's best?

Best vehicle for me has to be the Rhino, as it combines ruggedness with effectivity and can be used to build several different vehicles (predators, Razorbacks etc)

Character goes to Geigor Fell hand and the Dark Angel Interrogator Chaplain. They both have a sense of movement, and they have lots of details.

Best infantry is easily the Sisters of Silence. I hope they make Sisters of Battle in the same quality. The sculpts are beautiful, and drybrushing metallics on them makes for some great highlights.

Hmmm.
Vehicles I really like the Monolith.
Characters - I really like Logan on the sled, I know, I know.
Infantry definitely Wolf Guard.

Are we allowed to count FW in this as well? Because if so, choosing a character just got a lot harder.
My favourite vehicle has to be the vindicator, it fits the bill of demolition vehicle perfectly what with it's rugged, heavily armoured appearance and the siege shield just completes the look, especially when painted with hazard stripes.
Favourite infantry has to be the new plastic MKIII armour, it looks great and is a joy to build.
Character is a tougher choice as GW make some great character minis (plastic Kharn, Boss Zagstruk, Gabriel Seth, Vargard Obyron and the Sslyth all come to mind) which makes it hard for me to choose a favourite. If I had to pick a character though, it would be Murderfang hands down as he is my favourite model in my favourite army. (however if FW were allowed my favourites would be tied between Russ and Angron because they have fantastic dynamic poses)

I absolutely love the new Dark Eldar models. Really beautiful stuff, full of dynamism,

The Wyches and Scourges are excellent, and the vehicles strike a perfect balance between being evil and being recognisably Eldar in design.

I really hope they get round to making some plastic Aspect Warrior kits as there'd be so much you could do with them. I'd definitely blow a significant amount of my paycheck on them if they come out...

Oh, and I've come up with a semi-expanded Shadow War idea and need some feedback! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/726439.page

Two of my favourite models are the old Bretonnian Sorceress and the Green Knight.

A large part of why I started Bretonnians in the first place.

LOTR really had a lot of lovely models, particularly the metals, they were slightly smaller scale so were harder to paint well though. Even GW's own showcase often had wonky looking faces, but the bare metal was pretty good.

Very tough question... there's so much competition.

I'm trying to separate models from fluff here because I want to say chaos terminators. I think I'll go with the humble tactical squad. It might seem boring to us because we're so used to seeing power armoured marines, but it's an iconic design that has evolved over the years. If power armour looked naff how many people would never have made it into the hobby?

I'll say I've been impressed with the quality and design (from a sprue/assembly perspective) of most of Games Workshop's recent models. The art direction and aesthetic design is running rapidly in the other direction for a lot of models.

I suppose I should be happy with this as it keeps me from buying any kits.

Love the new Carnosaur/Trogolodon, Bastilodon and the Witch Elves personally.

The new Ulric the Slayer I think is fantastic. I wish more HQ choices had good poses like he does. I feel like a lot of models have the 'cape blowing in the wind to the right' but it doesn't look as badass as Ulric's.

Most of the new charachters have a lot of charachter in their pose and details... Ulrik, Cassius in deathwatch version, the dark angels interrogator chaplain, the latest comissar, all lovely to assemble and paint. Maybe a bit overpriced in general, but hey, we're used to that.

In the vehicles I like a lot the new Russ compared to the old kit (god, the old turrets were a pain to asssemble!!) as it has loads of options. The valkyrie is also stunning.

As all over armies I love the dark eldar, dark elves and nurgle stuff, they are al very consistent in design and just lovely to look at and paint (If maybe just a bit frail in the case of dark eldar).
