Hey all!
So I saw this list on a video bat rep yesterday and Ive been thinking about it and I like a lot of things about it, but there's something that feels off about it, like maybe that
here's only 2 small windrider squads for this size game..
Anyways, heres the list!
Farseer, jetbike, singing spear, spirit stone of an'athalan
Farseer, jetbike, singing spear
5 Wraithguard, d-scythes, wave serpent w/ TL scatterlaser, shuriken cannon, vectored engines
3 Windriders, scatterlasers
3 Windriders, scatterlasers, Warlock
Crimson Hunter Exarch, brightlances
Wave Serpent, TL scatterlaser,
Fire Prism, TL shuriken catapult, holo fields
Fire Prism, TL shuriken catapult, holo fields
Falcon, TL shuriken catapult, scatterlaser
Wraithknight, dual starcannons, glaive and shield.
This seems very fast and aggressive, plus loads of sleek looking tanks supported by jetbikes and the knight. Maybe just keep the Windriders at the 36" range and in cover to minimise losses? I almost would hate to cut any tanks because the thematic feeling would be diminished, but what do you guys think?
Thanks!

A Saim Hann list with 6 wraith models and 8 jetbike models? That's a very ... interesting interpretation of a Saim Hann theme. While you won't have people complaining about spamming bikes, you're going to get a few raised eyebrows when you put those wraiths on the table.
Why is the FA wave serpent there? What's it transporting? If you want to use it as an attack platform, just take another Falcon.

That list is about as "Saim-Hann" as an Iyanden list with just a WraithKnight and no other Wraith constructs. Saim-Hann lists need to have at least 3 of the following 5 units: Windrinders, Vypers, Autarch Skyrunner, Shining Spears or Seer Council on Jetbikes. This list only has Windriders, and not even that many. Overall the list is good. It could use 1-2 more units of Windriders, but please don't call it "Saim-Hann" as that gives a certain impression that this list does not fulfill. -

Thanks for the replies!
First things first, as stated, not my list so the choices are what they are. As far as Saim Hann goes, having played for near 20 years, I'm familiar with the Wild Rider armies, as well as the ones from other craftworlds, this army I saw happened to be painted in Saim Hann colors, had jet bikes and a lot of grav tanks, hence I say Saim Hann. Just because the guy who put it together didnt min/mxlax everything oit for a tournament doesn't make it any less themed. Personally I think the d-scythe wraithguard would be a nasty surprise, and between them and he knight, give some staying power to an otherwise lightly armored and fragile force. As for the unmanned wave serpent, Im not sure what the plan was, other than maybe another gun ship? Another falcon/prism would probably do better but he had already filled his heavy slots, i would probably throw a squad of dragons inside or something like that so the 10 mn capacity didnt get wasted. I appreciate you checking it out though, i may put something like this together.
It seems fast, shooty and fun.

Hi Zadkiel! Nice to know you're watching our videos and they're inspiring you! I am really glad you liked my Eldar list it was quite fun to use. Did you watch it take on the space wolves? Or the necrons?
I'll answer some questions put on this thread about the list....see if I can clarify a few things for poeple.
First of all, I used to be an Iyanden player. My list was mostly wraith constructs. With the release of the craftworlds book, I personally felt that they broke wraith constructs to a level whereby a full Iyanden wraith army wouldn't be that fun to play. So I decided to switch to Saim Hann (Ironic I know when you consider scatter bikes...). So I am currently very much in a transition period from yellow to red. I am slowly adding units and I am dreadful at painting, so it takes me a while to get stuff to a point where I am happy to put it in front of a camera. So, after deciding I wanted to go full Saim Hann, I then decided I didnt want to spam scatter bikes, kind of defeats the object of coming away from the wraiths. So I made the decision to go tank heavy as I already had a falcon and a couple of serpents. As it happens I am off to a tournament this weekend and the list is significantly different again. All the tanks have gone, as have the wraithguard. I have added in 3 more units of bikes, 2 stock and one with shuriken cannons, and added in a hemlock and 2 night spinners. I have also added in a min sized seer council. So that should make the haters happy. (They'll be on the youtube channel very soon!)
As for this specific list, I felt the mass skimmer tanks made up for the lack of jetbikes theme wise.I tend to not leave home without my wraithknight. And the guard were good for making up points as I didnt have enough stuff painted red yet! Now, the question of the Serpent, I still think they're one of the best skimmers the Eldar have. Ignore the fact it is supposed to be a transport and it kicks out a shed tonne of strength 6 firepower, and is more survivable than most of the rest due to the serpent shield. I think theyre excellent gunships, arguably much better than falcons. But then I remember them from the days when you could fire the shield every turn, and the laser lock rule twin linked the rest.
Anyways, any questions bud - please feel free to post up here or ping me a PM. Always happy to chat all things eldar.
