So I'm new to space marines, and I'm finding myself overwhelmed by the amount of options that aren't bad. Because of this I need a bit of help in figuring out what units in the codex are good for making a really aggressive shooty/assaulty list. Right now I've settled for building around a sky hammer annihilation force, but beyond that I'm rather lost.

Probably with Skyhammers. Deny T1 shooting of the enemy, drop in with combat squaded dev. Depending on the number of high value targets, either 2x grav cannon in each squad, or 4x in one squad, and 5x bolter marines in the other to support the ASM. (just take multiple, I think you could get 2 decently equipped at 1850, and then a few sparse upgrades for the ASM)
