ATTENTION. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Essentially units that are unusual and/or interesting. As much as I need MOAR infantry and tanks, they are boring. I'd much rather receive a fun unit as a gift. (I'll always happily take what I can get though)

Hehe, fun thread!
Mostly I want a reclamation legion. I'm working on my Necrons for a big gaming trip in February and I need to add umpf to my collection.
Otherwise the only other thing I'd like to have would be a set of brushes and some paint!

Imperial Fists Contemptor Mortis. Possibly x2.
Haemotrope Reactors

Plasma Obliterator (hopefully GW rereleases it)
Manufactorum x2
Aquila Strongpoint
Basically, I am done with my armies, for the most part, I just want some terrain to make a nice table setting. My Crimson Fists and Imperial Fists will likely make use of the Aquila Strongpoint. If I get two Contemptor Mortis Dreads, one will be a Crimson Fist, the other will be an Imperial Fist.

1x Maloc
1x Exocrine
2x Tyrant Guard (1 box to make biovores)
2x Malenthrope
3x Lictor
Then I'll be ready for 1850 games
Also a Barracuda for my Tau would be sweet.
Who am I kidding though - I will have bought all this before Xmas.
Maybe a heriphant.

Thousand Sons to go along with him.
I have all the dosh ready to go for when they announce him officially, if the accompanying rules are good.
|
Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.
I have a problem.
Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

The Marine Standing Behind Marneus Calgar
|
The odds of me getting any hobby stuff is basically zero. The odds of me getting some random cash with a strict “buy something fun for yourself” is a bit higher. The odds of me actually spending money on fun stuff is a bit lower though.
But a guy can dream.
My Eldar army is actually getting pretty close to being done. Barring new releases. Things I could use/covet
Another Wave Serpent. (I only have one. This is the closest thing to “need” on the list)
Wraithguard (and another WS to put them in)
Wraithlord. (I like the model, even if he is a little sub-par)
Maybe another 5 DAs.
My Marine army, while being significantly larger then my Eldar, could always use a lot more stuff. Probably because there are a lot of formations I’m just a mini away from.
1-3 whirlwinds (don’t own any, they work well in a number of formations)
Cents (They’ve grown on my, and are quite strong on the table)
Kill team Cassisus (mostly as a painting project)
Deathwatch LR (I only own a classic Phobos LR, this kit has the parts to make any of the core variants)
LSS, Pred, Vindi, Stormtalon (or hawk). (I only own one of each, could use at least one more of all of them. LSS especially)
Modern terminators (both tactical and assault)
If we want to go pure pie-in-the-sky wish-listing, there are a number of FW things I’d love to have. One of those smexy Eldar superheavy grav tanks, or frankly any of the 30k Ultras stuff.
In non-GW, but still hobby stuff:
I’m still looking into shields for turning some of the Mk III BoP guys into breachers. Also some jump packs to make some destroyer squads (the rad grenade guys). Might place a order with Anvil for parts, even though I’m not 100% on their shields.
I could use another KR case. I like my Kaiser 3, but often find myself just bringing 2 KRU worth of army to the FLGS. I’d love one of their backpacks, although a Kaiser 2 would also work. The odds of me needing to bring 5 KRU to the store is quite low, but being able to bring a smaller case would be nice on my shoulders. Last time I bought foam, I did leave a decent amount of space for expansion, but that’s mostly full at this point. Pretty much anything new I pick up would need a new custom tray, and I already have a few items being slotted into non-optimal spaces.
Oh, and another non-happening option would be an airbrush setup.

My Crimson Fists are proceeding apace, and I'm mostly done with the Battle Company, Armory, and 1st Company elements. What I need next are some 10th company, so Scouts, Scout Bikes, and Land Speeder Storms.
If someone really likes me he could get me a Thunderhawk, but I don't think I know anyone who loves me that much.

My Christmas wishlist:
A Y'vahra or two for my Tau
A good starting force of Deathwatch to ally with my Dark Angels. This might just happen with the upcoming Battleforce box sets!
Echoing backspacehacker, some decent Terminator rules would be nice. #maketermiesgreatagain
The ability to paint stuff faster and cleaner (I guess I have to just practice and practice like everyone else though )
More Ravenwing Black Knights would be nice!

New IG codex where they bring back all the old special characters (I like outflanking never ending waves of conscripts!).
Seriously though, stuff for my Arbites Army (space marines scouts converted):
12x Scout Bikers.
3x Land Speeder Storms.
20x Scouts.
Stormtalon.
Storm Raven.
If I got all that added to my current small arbites force I would have 1850 points.
As it is I will probs just buy it for myself
