Subject: [1850] - Space Marines/Astra Militarum allies
Hey gents, just ordered the Strike Force Ultima at a great deal and have always wanted to do an SM and AM alliance.
There are two options I'm looking at and wish to receive input regarding any aspect of these lists, specifically:
anti tank/anti infantry/anti monster capability
OBJ-centric missions requiring maneuverability and OBJ SEC troops which I, unfortunately, do not have
and any other observations you may have, including, the best option out of the two
Strike Force Ultima rules - all units must be embarked in transport and put on reserve at the start of the game. All units enter from reserve automatically on turn one and each weapon system, including infantry weapons after dismount, has one extra shot until the end of the turn.
every SM unit in this list is required for the formation
Lastly, the intent for my AM allies is to hold the backfield and shoot while SM do the maneuvering
this first list consists of minimal upgrades for the strike force to make room for more AM

This second option consists of heavily upgraded strike force to take advantage of the extra shot with a small AM formation (emperors shield infantry platoon: move through cover if sentinel is within 9" and an order which allows heavy weapons to fire full BS while moving)

Its been 5 years since I played SM - I have no idea what grav guns do but they sound cool.
on second thought, I really have no idea what I'm doing, but these are the models I have and I want to make them work (including a Valkyrie/vendetta, aegis defense line and 10x scions)
