Anyone got any ideas/thoughts on how people paint the inscription seen on grey knights shoulderpads and armor? Especially since it seems wherever the words are near corners the plastic is kinda fudged.

at the keyboard

is it not a transfer or a decal?

Could be just a micron pen though, which is how I tend to do small lettering on areas.

If you mean the stuff that's moulded in, just basecoat it, wash it and then highlight

The stuff that's moulded yeah. Well I looked into micron pens but they only do one gold size and I have tried it and it's too big and lets out WAY too much ink.

That's what I am doing atm trying to highlight it with small brush, but very much struggling with this as I can pretty much only drybrush it as it's so small and fiddly pretty much any paint on the brush just ends up getting everywhere.

I just drybrush them, looks great and is easy. Pick your battles.

I'm trying with drybrushing but can't seem to make it work well.
