Personally I'm hoping some of the less 40kish bits are available as equipment options for 40k.

I'm really digging their aesthetic, and it's not like bolt pistols and chainswords are very awesome anyways ruleswise.

The double-handed sword and also the double-handed axe-thing on the sprue look interesting. Heavy weapons options?

Looking good! I hope the rules for AoS comes out for those, and hope that the unit comes in 5's in matched play, so I can the ones from the silver tower box.

These should do for now. Look at page 14. They're designed for the 6 from Silver Tower, but it should get you buy until the Tzeentch Arcanites release.

Yeah, I meant more for the banner and musician upgrade, I'm also assuming there would be a unit champion of some sort. Plus matched play points.

Having bought the silver tower box, I thought I would have a halfway decent tzeentch arcanites army already. I am also hoping they expand the easy to build line to tzeentch arcanites so I can use those to bump up my silver tower minis without having to buy another entire box.

A few of you eagle-eyed fans out there rightly noted that the new Thousand Sons Tzaangor unit comes with options for a sword, shields, axes and even banners and chaos brayhorns.
We asked the adepts in the Silver Tower (Design Studio) about this, and they cryptically informed us that Tzeentch has plans for this unit in the Mortal Realms.

One is probably a unit champion shield, with 5 others in case you don't want to make a champion.

Assuming they come ten per box as they do for 40K, you will still have two spare shields to upgrade any Chaos models you want with a Tzeentchian shield.

Indeed, each "grape" of 5 Tzaangors come with enough to equip all five with sword and shield or two hand weapons (axes). You can also equip one with a two handed sword, one with a two handed axe, one banner, one horn blower and one champion.
