Hello guys as the title says i am getting 1 of those as christmas gift. The question is from guys that own both or one of them. If i get the space hulk i could also use the terminators to my flesh tearers army. Also i would really like to go to 30k too this will be my starter set for 30k. So what do you think? Overall which 1 is better even as box game the missions and everything that the box has to offer?

If it's a gift, which one is more expensive?

Space Hulk is a very good, time tested, self-contained game.

I haven't yet played Prospero, but since it involves two opposing sides you probably need to think about it in terms of a boardgame with the two factions painted as a mix of TS and SW as opposed to as a 30k starter set with all of the models painted as whichever Legion.

I think Space Hulk is the much better game. BOP is a better value if you are looking for models to use in 40k in addition to the boxed game itself. Personally, I would pick Space Hulk any day of the week.

Space Hulk.

I'd wait on Prospero, or pick it up on Swap area second hand for a heck of a deal...

Space Hulk= Staying power and a heck of a game.

Space Hulk is a must buy. It's worth it on the value of the game itself. BoP is cool, but it's main purpose is being a source of models. If you value (generic) models above the game itself, I'd buy Prospero. If you want a complete game with lots of replay value that features some of the best (non-generic) models around, Space Hulk is the way to go.

Space Hulk. Still playing it years later. Have also bought several sets over severaleditions so on occasion have a massive hulk to explore by putting them together, or use it as my 40K board.

Which do you want more, 30K manz, or terminators and genestealers?

If you want to use it for your own army then go with Prospero as it has loads of mini's and you can use them in 40k just fine.

If you want a time tested game get space hulk
