Just a simple question. I know it is not in the codex, however, in friendly games, non tournament, what would be a point total to place a set of punisher cannons in place of the wing las-cannons cost? Simply it would just be a twin linked punisher cannon. Should there be a point increase or just a free substitution?

I think its called a "Vulture" at that point. Just use that instead.
Only difference being a Vulture with the TL Punisher cannons under its wings, is it comes with a nose mounted Heavy Bolter under its nose as standard. Not to mention I'm fairly sure the Vulture costs less points wise.

Vulture also has no transport capacity which is a significant change

Use a Vulture (you can convert a Vendetta if you find punisher pieces on Ebay) Have a nice BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT EDIT: If you still want to run a Vulturetta, I would keep the cost as-is, if you want to run what is essentially a Vulture with BS3 and 6 men transport capacity. Also:

Generic characters disappearing? Elite units of your army losing options and customizations? No longer finding that motivation to convert?

Regarding ebay- the forgeworld punisher cannon itself is dinky as hell and quite fragile - use the Russ kit, or , if you can score it, the Vengeance Weapon Battery version - it's awesome

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement. |

The Vulture also has strafing run and vector dancer with no crew capacity. It is literally better in every way and for a similar price point

Yes. Take a Vulture. They're better in any way and shred anything they're pointed at.
Also, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrt.

I have the actual under wing punisher cannons, good old china cast, and it is really good. Automatically Appended Next Post: I just think it would look neat with my older all metal Catachan army.

The extra upsides to the Vulture are Strafing Run (so it's BS4 against ground targets) and Vector Dancer (to make it easier to get side/rear arc on things).
