First Rumour Engine image released - Duardin steam Golem or some kind of flying thingy.

Second image - Arcanite Standard.

Third image - Plastic Inquisitor/Henchman bit.

Just my two pence.

LordShaft.

If these are all true, I will be so so poor next year.

It is either shadow kin or dark eldar with some captured soulstones.

The very first dwarves rumour has yet to be be solved, so it is 3 out of 5 so far

So looking at these hints, it seems the next few releases will be Tzeentch (obviously) gathering storm part 2 featuring Eldar, steampunk Duardin and maybe some aos humans. That is a pretty good start to the year.

It is from the new Stormcast kits.

No it isn't.

Yeah huh!

"These swift and deadly warriors are a new type of Stormcast Eternal – rangers, trackers and cavalrymen without compare. They are swift vengeance to the forces of Chaos, and the outriders and scouts of Sigmar’s armies. The models that are on the way make for an imposing army (and you may recognise a little piece of their kit from a previous Rumour Engine…)."

The bit you will recognise is the big crossbow thing on the stripy animal not the small pistol.
It is interesting that the very first image still has not been shown yet.

A Terminator Psychic Hood but the looks of it.

Yup. One of the easier ones to guess. Wonder if it is anyone famous. There is already a pretty good terminator librarian in plastic.
Edit looking at the various librarian minis, I am going to guess grey knight terminator special character.

The grey knights do not currently have a plastic hq (the only marine faction which does not) or a start collecting box. I could see them featuring in another death masque style box set.

Thanks for those pics guru. I think that pretty much seals it as being a grey knight.

One of the ork bikers has a plate very much like that on his back. The robes hanging on rings and the chain holding armour together are also both orkish elements. I am going for warbuggy or Wartrakk driver.

Someone on war of sigmar coloured it. It looks a lot like chainmail, a buckle and armour. It is starting to look like an aos release.

I think this will be the shortest time between hint and reveal yet.

Just checked out the first post and wanted to point out some stuff that has not been updated. The nagash face is from shadespire. You can see it on some of the boards used at the preview event.
The circle armour plate is from the Deathguard release.
That leaves 4 unsloved. The glowing thing is probably mechanicus. It very similar to the datasmith's back pack.
The recent one is almost certainly shadow Aelves. The other two are a mystery still.

Does anyone know if this image is from Kharadron Overlords ?

The metal colours, and the blue light is similar to them, but i dont see the "discs" that are at the end.

I'm pretty confident this is mechanicus.
The backpack of the datasmith is very similar. The 40k story also seems to be setting up new mechanicus stuff.

I think that GW could design khorne models in their sleep. It is a very safe army to go with. The stormcast are just good guy chaos warriors. The design is very similar to the plastic chaos lord. I imagine it did not take too long to go from concept to production of these minis. The more unfamiliar the faction, the longer it takes to produce concepts, art, miniatures, rules and fluff.
Even the new version of the stormcast book came alongside some more unusual, visually interesting minis.
I hope the positive reaction to the overlords translates into more original concepts in the future.

They have not previewed a specialists games thing yet. I am going for new ork stuff for the Armageddon campaign they have been hinting at.
Also all the minis they produce in plastic have a resin version cast up first, specifically so that it can be painted in time to produce the box art.

Nah that's someone's converted army . Look at the ghouls in the bottom right or the flagellants with guns bottom left , and the up-armoured aos nurgle thing .

Converted by one of the designers of the new deathguard, Maxime Pastourel.

Well either this is Cthulhu deep one inspired shadow Aelves or GW is trolling. It this point I think at least 4 of this pics come from this release. It is depressing to know that we are not likely to see it until the primaris and Deathguard releases are done.

I think it looks a lot like the reliquaries that the primaris marines are carrying. The small size would explain the lack of detail.

I think it was already shared here but the February image of the gravestone has been solved. It is from the death rattle shadespire set. It is behind the one coming out of the ground.

I really hope it is part of a new imperial guard range. New troops, command squad and heavy cross compatible with the neophytes and skitarii.
This would get me to start a new army.
That said there were pretty substantial rumours of an actual new Necromunda so it could be that.

Hey guys, what are the 'Death Rattle' models a few pages back from or for? I like the look of them but don't know where they fit in anything!? :-)

They are the third announced faction from the upcoming Shadespire game.

The teaser for next month is 30 years of 40k. That code read backwards is 30/9/87. This cannot be a coincidence. I am guessing some kind of commemorative release and not Necromunda.

I saw this on Facebook. It is the same image as the badge.
Tony Cottrell wearing it doesn't really reduce the possibilities. He is in charge of forgeworld but he is also one of the longest serving members of GW and gave a interview previously on warhammer live about the history of 40k.

Well it can't be Necromunda then. People have been playing that for years. At this point I am expecting another game similar to Deathwatch Overkill.

They did. It clearly says another new game. They have said elsewhere that there will be a new shadespire announcement too.

I seriously fear for GW doing a Necromunda game. I believe that the depth and amount of upgrades will be SEVERELY restricted, from essentially whatever one wants, to the contents of a plastic box.

I wouldn't worry too much. The specialist games section is deliberately separate from the main studio and has a different philosophy. If you look at bloodbowl, you have rules for teams that do not have miniatures yet and there was a whole series of videos about how to convert minis to field those teams.
From what I have seen from the Adeptus Titanicus previews, they are not shying away from a little complexity.
The whole point of doing Necromunda in addition to shadow war would be to provide players with the classic Necromunda experience.
Edit ninjad by Yodhrin. I agree with them.

What time tomorrow will it be revealed? I'm a canadian in est.

Just pause for a second, consider the fact that nobody knows for sure exactly what it is, and ponder how likely someone is going to be able to offer an accurate answer...

If it is part of the forgeworld open day, sometime between 10am and 5 pm UK time. If it is on the community site some time between 3 pm and 7pm UK time is normal.

Looks skaven and like they are carrying around flasks of poison. Weren't there rumors a long time ago about a clan Skyrer release for AoS?

My bet is on that.

Skaven are strongly rumoured to be the fourth faction in shadespire so it could be that.

Even if you just look at his posts, you can tell it is someone who knows stuff. He wrote about plastic guilliman, Mortarion, new marines and plague armies a year ago.
He correctly predicted kharadron Overlords including some of the details of the minis.
The only thing he was completely wrong about was the plastic thunderhawk.
I have a feeling that the aos schedule may have been shifted around a bit due to the demands of death players. It does seem that GW is trying to be more reactive now.
That said GW is doing another aos seminar during the nova open in which they will talk a bit about the future.
It will probably just be more info about firestorm but there are still 4 months of 2017 left so we could be getting s nice surprise.
