Hey guys! I have had 3 Space marine land speeders in my bits box forever and had all of these great intentions to finish them and never got around to doing it.
Last night I decided to just challenge myself with what I had in my bitz box at the time. I think the first skorcha speeda turned out great! Some may think it isn't "busy" enough, but for the challenge to work with all 3 speedas I need to be a bit more hesitant with the bits I use... lol. Hard for a mek to do.

I was hoping you guys could give me feedback and hold me accountable for finishing this project.. many of my projects end up collecting dust because I hold on to them too long waiting for that one perfect bit that never comes! Might as well pump them out and get them table top ready.

Clearly these will be counts as trakked units... might even do one with tracks, but love the idea of one or 2 still functioning as intended... thoughts?

On to the second skorcha speeda. This one I used a head from Kromlech. (Check them out if you havent.) I wanted an alternative look to the fuel tank, so I found me some chainz to hold it in place

Couple wirez added here 'n there. Added a few wires to the 1st speeda too. Pics to come. Trying to brainstorm some custom flyer bases... any ideaz are welcome.

Looks promising! I actually really like the less 'busy' look of the first speeder. Looking forward to seeing the second (& third) finished!

Got a little too carried away with the rust on the 2nd one.. but, I am an ork: it happens.

I might try to tone it back just a tad with some silver around the edges for highlights. The two I have now just feel like they contrast sitting next to another as seen below.

Lots of touching up to do. Always can add more cleverly placed wires ere and der.

Yea atm all I have is my cell camera... I can attempt to flip them all upright going forward. That or we can all tilt our heads haha.
