Not to be confused with bad vampire novels or purple unicorns.
I'm curious about Wood elf philosophy and religion and I didn't know where to go.
I'm aware there are some wood elf devoted forums but I didn't want to join them just to ask a few questions.

In a roundabout way; what I'm asking is if it is possible for elves in the FB/AOS word to become corrupted by chaos as humans are or are they too disciplined?

The lore is somewhat vague there. With Storm of Chaos ret-conned I don't know of any Elves/Aelves explicitly turning to chaos but then no reason is ever given to why they would be immune to its corruption. However, they would certainly be less motivated to turn to chaos than humans. A human's life is relatively brief, probably violent, and turning to chaos offers great power at risk of death--but they had that risk anyway. An Elf, by comparison, is already talented in a variety of skill sets, immortal or near-so, and further they tend to have a culture much farther distanced from barbarism than humans.

So to answer your question to the best of my knowledge: maybe.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Pretty much anything can be corrupted by Chaos - physically, mentally and/or their soul.

Elves are not immune and are not actually that disciplined - very many in the past joined Slaaneshi or other decadent cults in the world that was.

Wood Elves tend to be more linked to nature and so protected but again there is no reason why say they could not be turned, with their environment, into worshipers of Nurgle, not easy but not impossible - especially if they feel their goddess has deserted them or been killed - both of which was nearly true before the recent events. Others may despair and fall to rage and violence and so to Khorne. Giving up and indulging in your final days is a good way to end up as a Slaaneshi follower.

Nature is change and of course that's Tzeentch's domain.

So if you want to do some Chaos conversions - the fluff is there!

This is hardly canonical, but in the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying games, both Elves and Dwarfs were much more resistant to Chaos than humans.

That said it's a big universe, and resistant doesn't mean immune.

Thanks for the info. I have a couple of wood elf rule books but I've never looked at them much.
I was trying to work something out fluff wise for one of the foes of my Empire army
