Originally it was meant to be The Lion, Russ, Pertuarbo, Angron, Mortarian and Guilliman. But all of the BL books give different accounts, with Guilliman thinking it was a good idea at the time. What primarchs do you think were actually angry and do you have sources? Simmilarly, what primarchs were happy about it?

I know which would make some sense, but no sources

The Lion (as he may have thought Rogel Dorn was the better choice)
Russ because his loyalty was to the Emperor
Angron because he was angry about everything
Magnus is a maybe as he may have seen it coming, not sure on the time line of events on that one.
Guilliman maybe secretly thought he was the better choice, both as a tactician and as he commanded the largest legion at the time.
I don't think Mortarian was happy about anything

I don't actually think any of them were happy about it, but they trusted in the Emperors wisdom.

Remember, the BL books are usually written from the perspective of someone close to the primarchs, where as the original fluff was written as a cold observer with access to the primarchs thoughts, so what the primarchs felt and showed outwardly would be different - that may be where the difference comes from

The Lion especially, as he thought as Leader of the first legion it should go to him.

I think Pert was angry. Not because he seriously expected to be made warmaster, but I think he would have preferred that Sanguinius would have been made warmaster (with Sangy being one of 2 primarchs Pert liked).
I agree that Angron would have been angry about it. Dunno how Mort and Ferrus would have reacted, as they were also rather volatile.
I actually think Corax might have been pissed, as he is the only primarch explicitly stated to have got along poorly with Horus.

Have you got a source for Pertuarbo prefering Sanguinius? They're 2 of my favourite primarchs so I'd love it if there was even a sentence conecting them lol, to date BL have not written about them

No quote, I just read somewhere that Sangy and Magnus were the 2 primarchs Pert actually got along with, so it seemed a reasonable reason for pert to be angry.
I'll look for the source.

Edit: thus far, the only evidence for a friendship/respect between Sangy and Pert comes from 1d4chan and the general consensus that everyone liked Sangy. It helps that Magnus got along well with both Pert and Sangy. I'll keep looking to try and find something more reliable.

Lion's not angry, he takes it cynically-sees it as further proof of the Emperors favouritism.

My $0.02, which since 1992 has rounded to nothing. Take with salt.

A few of the early HH books do reference a few of the other Primarchs' reactions, and I believe that the Lion and Angron specifically were quite vocal about not being chosen.

I think Angron was less pissed off about not being chosen (I think even he knew he effectively wasn't a contender) and more annoyed that he had to take another Primarch's orders, given how belligerent he was already.

If I remember right I believe Russ outright said he didn't want it, it may have been from First Heretic when Magnus was speaking with Lorgar.

Thanks anyway, and don't feel like you have to find the quote, the amount of lore out there probably makes it impossible to locate xD

If I remember right, Horus mentions in Horus Rising that Perturabo wasn't happy with Horus selection for Warmaster and that he wanted the job himself. Might be a bit off with the reasoning though.

Dodging more work sounds like him, I couldn't imagine him being happy about taking orders from somebody who hasn't put him in his place as a fighter though.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

This. He barely wanted to command his own Legion, let alone be commander-in-chief of all of them.
