Ok guys, so I use battlescribe for my list creation. Love it. Recently I noticed that my Wolf Guard Termis were missing the option to purchase heavy flamers.
Checked my codex and the option is there. Put in a bug report to the data file creator and he is saying that the heavy flamer is an invalid option!! That they don't have it any more.

He quoted the Space Wolves Codex - Wulfen Edition. Now I don't have that and it makes 0 sense that should have been taken out.
Can any one who has the Space Wolves Codex - Wulfen Edition verify this or if it is a misprint point me to a post or something where GW says it is.

Thank you.

I have no desire to look up rules for you but.

GW FAQ allows you to take the entry of your current codex even if there is an similar entry in a newer supplement with different rules. Look it up under Space wulfs -> Iron priest. So if it is in your codex you can use it.

Terminators aren't even IN the Wulfen supplement.
You're fine. Heavy Flamers are legal.

Its not the wulfen suppliment its the Wulfen edition of the codex. Which should just be a combination of the wulfen suppliment and the original codex.

But there is that single line about termis getting heavy flamers missing. And the data file dev isn't going to fix it. So I guess i've gotta mod it myself.

Codex Space Wolves: Wulfen Edition Pg 75 is where you find the terminators entry, and yes, they are lacking a Heavy Flamer option for some reason. My guess is it's a misprint, but as already stated, you can use either codex version, so you could use the standard codex and equip with Heavy Flamers. Maybe with so much Tzeentch warpflame going on, they decided flamers weren't the way to go.

Oh god. Imperial Flamers are going to be squatted because they're now a Chaos thing. Panic. Salamanders are going to be deleted in 8th. AAAAAH.
