I was wondering, how many heads are there in the rubric marines sprue?

From the pictures I counted 8 + 2 + 2 on the sprues, is that correct? (Total of 10 for normal marines + 2 for the sorcerer)

Thinking of using some spare heads for fantasy warriors but would also like to build a thousand sons squad

Should be, from my count. You may be able to find extra spare heads on Ebay.

You get 10 'normal' heads and 2 Sorcerer heads.

I've used my 2 spare heads to scratchbuild an Exalted Sorcerer (Old Rubric Body, metal Raptor pistol arm and Chaos Icon arm with a staff top spare from the Scarab Occult kit) and sorcerer (from the Dark Vengeance Lord).

Since I can see people looking here for other kits, the Exalted Sorcerer box comes with 6 heads. Not quite as generous with the extra bits as the SW kits, but not too bad.
