I was looking through the Imperial Armour Vol 1 Second Edition, and these 2 units look like alot of fun to play, They're both in there with point costs but I cant find them on battle scribe with that book loaded. With a quick search on the net I came across something saying that the Breacher drill is only available in one of the other IA books, 12 I think.

Anyone have any better insight or the proper way to field these units?

Thanks

The drill is in IA:Vraks in the DKoK army list, with significantly different rules. RAW those rules don't apply outside the DKoK army list and any other army list continues to use their existing rules (much like updating C:SM tactical squads doesn't change BA tactical squads), but given how significant the redesign was and how weak (and very frustrating) the IA1 rules are there's a strong argument that you should assume the DKoK rules for the drill now apply to all versions of the unit, with their respective infantry squads replacing the DKoK engineers.

Drop Sentinels are, IIRC, the same in IA1 and the IA3 Elysian list, so the IA1 rules are still current RAW and RAI.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I've never run into anyone that limits IG lists that much. If you want Elysian infantry you run Elysians, if you want DKoK infantry you run DKoK, if you want ABG tanks you run ABG, but all of the other fun, little toys are generally kosher in a standard Guard list. I actually just tried out drop Multi-Melta Sentinels the other day and they're pretty cool! Even against Tyranids where melta is kind of pointless, they still did some good work before dying gloriously!
